Blending art, tourism and entertainment in a first-of-its-kind concept, “Merry Balloon Hong Kong” features three major themed highlights:

The highly anticipated “Merry Balloon Parade” will headline the celebrations on Sunday, December 28, 2025, in Art Park, West Kowloon Cultural District, setting the stage for the grand finale of this season’s festive celebrations.

The parade will showcase nearly 20 globally loved and local IP characters, magically transformed as giant floating balloons gliding along the harbourfront from the Hong Kong Palace Museum to M+, painting Victoria Harbour’s skyline in festive colour and wonder. Residents and visitors are invited to experience this unprecedented visual feast and share Hong Kong’s festive joy for free!
